After dishing up a plate of my four-year-old grandson’s favourite dessert, I asked him if he would like custard on it. He eyed the jug with a frown and said, “Just a little bit.” After tasting a spoonful he shook his head. “Mum’s is better because she gets it in a packet.” So much for homemade!
