On a recent shopping trip I was pleased to find an elasticated pair of jeans that didn’t make me look like Jabba the Hutt, so I purchased two pairs. Once home, I tried them on again to show my flatmate. His remark was, “Don’t they look a bit short?” I had to tell him they were cropped pants, and they were supposed to be like that!
