Years ago young lads would deliver the evening newspaper on their bicycles. They would also deliver the New Zealand Woman’s Weekly along with it, should you be a subscriber to the magazine. On one occasion, when my asked the delivery boy where her Weekly was as she was handed the newspaper, he replied, “Oh, Mum hasn’t finished reading it yet!”
