I was given a bottle of lavender syrup in a lovely gourmet hamper, and it’s been sitting in my pantry while I figure out how to use it. Can you give me a few ideas please?
You’re in for a treat when you put that little bottle to work. I would suggest using it over fresh fruit for dessert. It’s quite nice with strawberries, but at the moment it would be good for poaching winter fruits. Add your syrup to cocktails, particularly ones using gin, or drizzle over pancakes with whipped cream. I guarantee that from now on you’re going to want a bottle handy at all times!
