Halloween is so much fun – what child doesn’t love dressing up?
These costumes make it cheaper and easier.
So click through for a bit of inspiration!
Bulldozer driver
A little bit of cardboard goes a long way to make a train or car or bulldozer – get your child involved with some toilet paper rolls and a couple of shoeboxes! You could even take another approach and be a present, or even a cellphone.
Bandit
Using your child’s existing wardrobe is a free way to make what can often be cool costumes
Mr Potato head
Pinning shapes to an oversized tshirt can result in a myriad of easy costumes – this Mr Potato head option is particularly fun!
Dracula
A little bit of makeup and a cape can be all you need.

Pokemon
This child has dressed as his favourite Pokemon, Squirtle, with only cardboard, tape and polystyrene!
Dalmatian
Makeup, a head band and some felt is all it took to transform this girl into a puppy!
Minion
For some reason, kids love minions. If they have a yellow tshirt, overalls and a yellow hat, they can be one for Halloween. Try pinning an eye (or two) to the hat, or if you are brave, use yellow face paint instead – banana optional.
Snapchat dog
If your kids have got involved with technology, they will know this set well!
Affix ears and nose to child and you are ready to go!
Superman
The chances are, your kid already has a super hero tshirt. Pop it under a shirt and tie and you are up, up and away!
Mummy
This baby looks adorable in what is essentially just a well tied bandage.
Pharoah
This hand painted mask goes well with a large white tshirt or even a sheet.
Hippie
Tie dye an old tshirt, or just pull an old one out of the cupboard and teach your little one how to pull a peace sign.
Joker
Your kid’s regular clothes will probably do to pull off a few famous characters. Just add hair and makeup.
