Based on Queensland author Holly Ringland’s novel of the same name (and a favourite with book clubs worldwide), this seven-part series tells the compelling story of Alice Hart, who, aged 9, tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire. Taken in by her grandmother at Thornfield Flower Farm, Alice learns there are secrets within secrets about her and her family’s past.

Australia’s breathtaking landscapes (from the desert to the sea) play an integral part to the storytelling of Thornfield Flower Farm. As Alice grows from her complicated past, her journey builds to an emotional climax when she finds herself fighting for her life against a man she loves.

Who stars in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart?

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is led by Academy Award-nominated and BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning screen legend Sigourney Weaver (Avatar, Alien), who plays June, Alice’s grandma. She is joined by Australian TV royalty and Golden Logie winner Asher Keddie (Offspring, Nine Perfect Strangers), and Aussie export Alycia Debnam-Carey (Fear the Walking Dead, Saint X) who plays Alice. Young Alice is played by Alyla Browne.

A face familiar to Shortland Street fans, New Zealand actress Frankie Adams stars as Candy Blue alongside some more Aussies Leah Purcell (The Drover’s wife, Wentworth), Alexander England (How to Please a Woman), Charlie Vickers (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Tilda Cobham-Hervey (I Am Woman) and Xavier Samuel (Elvis)
