After joining Shortland Street when she was just 16, 20-year-old Frankie Adams is making the big leap to Hollywood!

Frankie, who plays feisty Ula Levi on Shortland Street, is “excited and ready” for the big move to LA.

She’s booked a one-way ticket and is set to leave in January. “I have this crazy, ridiculous belief in myself,” she tells Woman’s Day.

“It might even be a little naive, but I don’t care because I’ve quit my job, I’m about to move to America and I just know I’m going to be successful,” she said.

As she filmed her last Shortland Street scenes, Frankie had the added challenge of training for her Fight for Life debut against Millie Elder-Holmes!

Thanks to an intense 11 weeks of training before the fight, Frankie’s more toned and trim than ever.

And despite losing out to Millie in the match, she has nothing but kind words to say of her opponent, who she says “was so lovely”.
