Do you have any tips for what to wear at weddings?
===
Dressing for weddings can be a tricky business. Here are some tips for getting it right:
Dresses that are short or have a plunging neckline are fantastic for nightclubs but inappropriate for weddings. Choose something tasteful and classic.
Never wear white – it’ll look like you’re trying to upstage the bride. Think how you would feel if someone did the same at your wedding.
Consider the weather. A February wedding lends itself to a floating chiffon number rather than a tailored suit.
Think about your footwear. Those killer stilettos might look fantastic but will you be able to stand in them from the church right through to the reception?
If the wedding is a day-to-evening affair, choose an outfit that will see you through both. For example, try a slinky dress worn under a smart jacket that can be shed later.
Remember, very pale colours are more vulnerable to food or wine spillages. Stick to vivid colours that can be easily sponged down.
