Write your worries away

Feeling a bit blue but don’t want to talk about it? Try writing your worries down in a journal. You don’t have to be a published author to record your thoughts on paper – just write what comes to mind.

Purchase a journal with an attractive cover that makes you want to write in it. Make it a sensual experience by sitting in the sun with a mug of herbal tea on hand. You may find writing to be an emotionally cathartic experience. You may even think of solutions to your problems as you try to make sense of your scribbles.

Best of all, a journal won’t judge, interrupt or bombard you with well-intentioned advice.
