Mood music

The power of music to alter our feelings is phenomenal.

A stirring classical piece can calm like chamomile, a power ballad can evoke romantic memories, while a frantic-paced dance track can have you moving your booty like nobody’s business. So why not rev up your spirits by adding a soundtrack to your day?

Turn on the radio while you eat your breakfast in the morning to put you in a good mood for the day (make sure you avoid listening to the news!). Take a walkman or iPod and play dance music on your daily walk – notice the difference in your physical ability as the music propels you to move harder and faster.

Pop on a CD while you’re cooking dinner and let your mind drift away.

For the ultimate buzz, book a group of gal pals for a night out and get into some serious grooving around your piled-up handbags!
