Once it was lingerie, now it graces the red carpet.

The humble slip dress has been around for a long time, but recently, we’ve noticed the wardrobe staple making a comeback on the red carpet, on the likes of everyone from Jennifer Lawrence to Kim Kardashian.

Now it has become acceptable as a main garment, boy are we glad to have it! Comfort as well as supermodel style!? Yes please!

From Kate Moss in the 90s to Selena Gomez owning it today, check out some of the star fans rocking the slip dress on the red carpet.

Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss ran the fashion world of the 90s, and here they are rocking slip dresses like bosses.
