We’ve been waiting for The Summer I Turned Pretty’s third and final season to drop for two years, and now that it’s here, we can tell you it’s been worth the wait.
A TV adaptation of Jenny Han’s best-selling trilogy, the series follows Belly and her love triangle with two brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah.

What is season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty about?
While season one was all about Belly (Lola Tung) coming into her own while exploring new relationships, season two is about figuring out once and for all where her heart truly lies.
While Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, she’s not sure summer will ever be the same with brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) fighting over her heart.
Adding to that is the arrival of an unexpected visitor trying to sell their beloved beach house and the return of Susannah’s (Rachel Blanchard) cancer that casts a dark cloud over season two.
What is season three of The Summer I Turned Pretty about?
Season three is set at the end of Belly’s junior year of college. Although she’s excited to spend another summer at Cousins Beach with Jeremiah, Conrad returns unexpectedly, and she must finally decide who she’ll commit to.
While speaking to Marie Claire Australia, Gavin Casalegno hinted at changes to the original book’s storyline.
“There’s definitely some pretty big changes that I feel like people are going to really appreciate,” he said.
Who stars in the season three cast?
Much the same as in previous seasons, The Summer I Turned Pretty season three stars Lola Tung as Isabel ‘Belly’ Conklin, Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher, and Gavin Casalegno as Conrad’s brother Jeremiah Fisher. Viewers can also expect Sean Kaufman to return as Belly’s brother Steven, Rain Spencer to return as Taylor and Jackie Chung to return as Belly’s mother Laurel.
Although viewers grew to love Kyra Sedgwick as Aunt Julia in season two, she announced in 2024 that she won’t return for the third season.

How many episodes are in season three?
There are 11 episodes altogether. The first two episodes dropped on Wednesday, 16 July, with weekly episodes dropping every Wednesday until the series finale on Wednesday, 17 September.
Will there be a season 4 of The Summer I Turned Pretty?
Unfortunately, no. Season three is based on the third and final novel in Han’s trilogy, We’ll Always Have Summer. Soak in every minute of it!
