She’s married to Kevin Bacon and stars in the hit telly series ‘The Closer’, but actress Kyra Sedgwick is hardly winning friends in Hollywood!
The star was invited to a party at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ Beverly Hills pad and found herself standing around alone in the lounge when she saw an unlabeled button on the mantelpiece. Curious, Kyra gave it a push and when nothing happened, she strolled over to Tom and announced loudly, “Excuse me, but I just pushed that button.”
The ‘Knight and Day’ star was extremely annoyed, explaining it was a silent panic alarm. And soon the house was surrounded by worried police, who refused to let anyone leave the party until Tom assured them it was okay.
The actor later told Kyra not to worry about it. However, she hasn’t been invited back to the party since!
