It’s the hottest ticket in town for the fashion-forward set, and this year is sure to bring plenty of drama as the stars get glammed up for the 2017 Met Gala.
With a different theme to celebrate each year and avant-garde ensembles encouraged, the celebrities always pull out all the stops for this prestigious ball, which raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
In 2017, the theme is Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons, celebrating the extraordinary influence of 74-year-old Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakubo.
Previous years have seen showstopping looks from Rihanna (who could forget that canary-yellow Guo Pei gown she wore in 2015?), Beyonce, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss and more.
We can’t wait to see what the stars have in store for us this year!
