Dear Wendyl, I have a girlfriend who often emails my husband at work. I know she does this because he’ll often mention something funny that she sent him, although she has never told me she does this, which makes me suspicious. Surely if she’s emailing him funny little anecdotes and pictures, she should also send them to me? I am her friend, after all. Am I over-reacting or is she being weird? *

Dear Sally, Hmmm – what is that about, I wonder? I’m with you on the suspicion front but it could just be a simple oversight on her part. Perhaps she thinks he’ll find them funny and you won’t or maybe she thinks he will forward them on to you? I’m trying to be fair here, but I’m actually still suspicious. My advice would be to let her know you’re on to her. oention in conversation that your husband forwards all her emails to you and you find them really hilarious and see what happens. If she says, “Does he send all my emails?” there’s something going on. If she says, “oh, sorry. I should just cc you shouldn’t I?” then everything’s probably okay.Wendyl
