My daughter has the “family rules” posted on the fridge for everyone to see. The consequence of bad behaviour, like hitting or shouting, is having to march around the outside of the house three times. My six-year-old grandson took the list to his mother and said, “I want to march around outside, so which one of these shall I break so you can punish me?”
