Alarming behaviour

One morning, our daughter took our nine and six-year-old grandsons to school. When they arrived, there was a fire engine on the grounds with its lights flashing. Apparently, being a cold morning, the staff had turned the heating system on and dust in the system had set off the alarms.

Master Six, without hesitation, asked his mother hopefully, “Will school be closed for a week?” He must have been disappointed.
