Buying expensive presents can be a thing of the past, once you learn to make your own.
Make a candle by heating up remnants of old candles, or buy some plain ones from the supermarket. Melt the wax and save the wick.
Add some essential oils to give it a nice fragrance, then pour into a pretty china teacup, decorative jar or glass (make sure the wax isn’t so hot that it will crack).
Get the candle wick and tie one end around a pencil. Slowly lower the other end into the melted wax so that it sits in the middle, then lay the pencil across the top of the teacup until the wax has set and the wick is in place. Trim the top.
