This one is for those of us who were pre-teens in the early 00s, obsessed with platform sandals, Impulse and The Simple Life (Yes, we loved the reboot). A brand-new collaboration between Juicy Couture and Crocs is healing our inner child.
I’ve already documented my surprising love for the platform Getaway Flip: a platform Crocs sandal that saw me through summer and healed the inner child who wasn’t allowed platform jandals the first time around. But this new release serving seriously Y2K energy might just be next on my list.
There are two styles to choose from, The Classic Clog and The Bae Clog.
The hot-pink Classic Clog has a pumped-up sole embossed with hearts while the upper is emblazoned with the classic JC logo. For added oomph, cover them all over a blinged-out set of JC Jibbitz charms.
For more of an evening look, opt for the baby pink Bae Clog and rock a platform sole and sparkly diamonte-emblazoned upper. Of course, they say JUICY in pink studs across the foot and have JC Jibbitz on the backstrap. Because you may as well go for broke.
Setting them apart is the fact that yes, they are Crocs so they have a cushioned insole and claim to be comfortable as heck – something the platform jandals of the early 2000s sadly could not claim.
Are they work-appropriate? Probably not. Are they fun AF? Absolutely.
