Treatment on trial: Kérastase Fusio-Dose

Here's why we’re loving an intensive in-salon treatment called Fusio-Dose by Kérastase.

If you use the hairdryer or straightener every day and colour your hair, chances are there will come a time when your locks seem more dry and brittle than normal.

But when it comes to treatments, the problem is every woman’s hair is different; it may be too dry, too frizzy, too flat or just a little lacklustre. That’s why we’re loving an intensive in-salon treatment called Fusio-Dose by Kérastase, that costs only $35 per treatment.

You may be familiar with the name as Fusio-Dose originally came out in 2011; however, this new updated formula is 15 times stronger than its predecessor.

So how does it all work?

Well, your stylist will inspect your hair for different types of damage, then select from five different ‘concentrates’, each tailored to tackled a specific primary concern. This is then mixed with one of five ‘boosters’, to tackle your secondary concern.

We’re particularly taken with the ‘Discipline Booster’, which gives up to 72 hours of frizz control, making your hair smoother and sleeker.

And our favourite part? The results are instant, as soon as it’s sprayed on in sections through your wet hair. Because, let’s be honest, who has time to sit for half an hour waiting for a treatment to activate?
