Bachelor and Bachelorette couples: Who’s still together?

Take a look at the couples who are still loved up!

They fell in love in front of thousands of viewers, but what happened once the cameras stopped rolling?

After all the rose ceremonies, group dates, one-on-ones and fantasy suites, we take a look at the couples who managed to make it through The Bachelor and The Bachelorette with their love intact – from our very own debut Bachelor Arthur Green and his leading lady Matilda Rice, to the original US Bachelorette couple still going strong after more than a decade together.

Here are the couples who found lasting love on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

As New Zealand’s first ever Bachelor, Arthur Green had a tough task ahead of him dating 21 of the country’s most eligible women. After weeks of memorable dates, dramatic rose ceremonies and a trip across the ditch for the finale, the model and Paleo advocate chose media sales executive Matilda Rice. Today, the couple are more in love than ever, with Art revealing Matilda is “everything [he] could want in a girlfriend”.

The first ever US Bachelorette, Trista Sutter, is still happily married to her pick Ryan after tying the knot in 2003. The couple now have two children together, Blakesley Grace and Maxwell Alston.

Jason Mesnick, star of season 13 of The Bachelor (US), caused an uproar when he proposed to dancer Melissa Rycroft in the finale – only to break up with her on the wrap up After The Final Rose episode six weeks later, confessing he was still in love with runner-up Molly Malaney. The couple got back together, eventually becoming engaged during a holiday in New Zealand in 2009. The following year, they tied the knot and are now the proud parents of daughter Riley and Ty, Jason’s son from a previous relationship.

Sean Lowe gave his final rose to Catherine Giudici during season 17 of The Bachelor (US) and the pair got hitched in a televised wedding just over a year after Sean went down on one knee. The couple have now welcomed their first child together, an adorable baby boy named Samuel.

Desiree Hartsock was the Bachelorette on season nine of the US version of the show. After choosing former pro baseball player Chris Siegfried on the finale and accepting his proposal, the two got married in January last year in a beautiful ceremony by the ocean in California.

Aussie Bachelor Sam Wood is head over heels for Snezana Markoski, the gorgeous single mum from Perth who captured his heart on season three of the reality show. The lovebirds recently announced they would be tying the knot in the middle of this year.

The Bachelor Chooses Snezana

After failing to find love with Bachelor Chris Soules and Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, contestants Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert fell for each other on season two of spinoff show Bachelor in Paradise. They tied the knot in an extravagant televised ceremony last January and recently announced they are expecting their first child together – a girl.

Season seven Bachelorette (US) Ashley Herbert accepted a proposal from construction manager J.P. Rosenbaum in a fairytale finale set in Fiji. Today, the couple are doting mum and dad to son Fordham Rhys and daughter Essex.

Tim Robards, Australia’s very first Bachelor, met his match in gorgeous Anna Heinrich on the first season of the show in 2013. The couple are still happily together, although there’s no engagement on the cards yet!

Kaitlyn Bristowe had a controversial season as the US Bachelorette, but after picking Ryan Gosling-lookalike Shawn Booth as her winner last year, the loved-up pair couldn’t be happier and are taking their time planning the wedding.

The most recent Australian Bachelorette, Georgia Love, found her happily ever after with hunky Lee Elliott.
