Princess Eugenie looked every part the fairy tale Princess when she wed her long-time partner Jack Brooksbank last October, walking down the aisle of St George’s Chapel in a breathtaking gown designed by Peter Pilotto.
And it seems she was feeling sentimental this week, opting for another Peter Pilotto number while attending back-to-back events on Wednesday.
Wearing the floaty ankle-length gown featured a blue and peach pink ombre design, adorned with metallic jacquard, Eugenie, 29, stepped out for her first event of the day at the Buckingham Palace gardens.
The final touches the look included studded Valentino pumps and a delicate gold bracelet, wearing her hair down in loose waves.
The Princess was accompanied by her uncle and aunt, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, where they presented Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards.
Posting about the ceremony on Instagram, Eugenie wrote:”Honoured to join my Uncle and Aunt, The Earl and Countess of Wessex today at Buckingham Palace to hand out @dofeuk Gold Awards.
“It was fantastic to meet all the young men and women who have achieved so much.”
Buckingham Palace also shared photographs from the day on the Royal Family twitter account, bur in uncharacteristic move, had to hastily delete one of the tweets after making an embarrassing typo.
“Princess Eugenie speaks to a group of young people about how they achieved their Gold Award,” the post was supposed to say, but instead Eugenie’s name was mistakenly written as “Eugene”.
The palace have since re-uploaded the tweet, this time with the correct spelling, whoops!
Later that evening the Princess headed to her second event for the day, a private viewing of the Animal Ball Art Show, presented by Elephant Family, an organisation which aims to save forgotten species from extinction.
Joined by her older sister Princess Beatrice, 30, the princess also gave a speech for the event.
Princess Beatrice is a frequent Instagram poster – in the last week alone she’s posted five times – posting everything from personal snaps and throwbacks to documenting the royal duties she undertakes as well as the work she does as part of the Anti-Slavery Collective, a collective she co-founded spotlighting modern slavery as a global epidemic.
Earlier this week she shared an image from Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston’s wedding at St George’s Chapel captioned: “Congratulations dear Ella and Tom!!
“You look absolutely stunning.”
