Just shy of a week after celebrating Father’s Day, Prince William has another big celebration to mark – his 37th birthday!

Today, June 21st, 37 years ago, William Arthur Philip Louis was born at the Lindo Wing to the Prince and Princess of Wales, second in line to throne.

Since his birth, his life has played out in front of the cameras, with the public seeing everything from his joyous moments such as introducing his newborn children to the world, to the devastating ones, such as the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana.

Despite the cameras and despite the enormous responsibilities he has and faces as the future King, the Duke of Cambridge has always shown to be incredibly down to earth and have his head on his shoulders.

In celebration of his 37th birthday, we take a look back at some of our favourite photographs of William growing up, along with some of our favourite funny and heartwarming quotes from the royal himself.
