Prince William has opened up about his family’s Christmas plans – admitting he’ll have his hands full with Prince George!
The Duke of Cambridge said his gorgeous two-year-old son now understands what happens at Christmas, so he’ll be eagerly anticipating Santa’s arrival on December 24.
“George will be bouncing around like a rabbit,” Prince William said in an interview with The Big Issue magazine. “If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve, it’ll be good.”
But the royal said he’s excited for the big day. It will be the family’s first with darling seven-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte.
“So that will be two children,” said William. “One who suddenly appreciates Christmas, which could be quite challenging. But I’m looking forward to it.”
He said his family will attend church on Christmas Day “as we always do”. Then later on, they will exchange gifts.
“We’ll watch George try to tackle his presents as he tries to unwrap them. It’s a very different experience at Christmas, having a family of your own,” he said. “It’d be nice if we got a white Christmas because we haven’t had one in many years.”
It’s expected the Cambridges will host the Middletons for Christmas at Anmer Hall, rather than go to Sandringham House to celebrate with the Queen.
