Royal News: Kate Middleton dazzles in Malaysia

Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge looked every inch the fairytale princess as she attended a formal dinner with the rulers of Malaysia with her husband Prince William.

Kate looked ravishing in a floor-length Alexander McQueen gown embroidered in gold with the Malaysian flower, hibiscus, made especially for the festivities at the Istana Negara Palace in Kuala Lumpur. Along with the British royals were His Majesty The Agong, Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdul, Halim Mu’adzam Shah of Kedah, and his wife Her Majesty The Queen, Raja Persaisuri Agong, Tuanku Haminah binti Hamidun.

Kate looked every bit a princess

Kate was heard speaking admiringly to the Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Tun Razak, of the opulent palace, saying, “It is beautiful, those chandeliers are wonderful. It’s amazing.”

William also talked about their trip to Tuvalu next week. “We hope to do some fishing and snorkelling. [I] am very interested in the coral and whale sharks. I have dived with them before and although they are huge, they are very docile creatures – not like Jaws.”
