Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge got swept away in the Olympic competition, sharing a rare moment of public affection on day six of the Olympics.
Kate, Wills and Prince Harry were part of the huge British crowd that turned out at the Velodrome stadium to support Philip Hindes, Jason Kenny and Sir Chris Hoy of Great Britain win the gold and set a new world record in the men’s team sprint track cycling final.
The royal couple and Harry were some of the enthusiastic supporters in the crowd who watched the cycling effort, taking part in a Mexican wave and chatting to cycling fans in the crowd.
Earlier in the day Kate and Wills also visited the Wimbledon where they supported Scottish tennis player Andy Murray win against Spain’s Nicolas Almagro in the tennis quarterfinals.
