If you haven’t heard of the film adaptation of It Ends With Us in the last year, sorry to say, you must have been living under a rock. But thankfully, for all those in the know, the film is now available to stream, and we couldn’t be more excited.
The novel It Ends With Us, by New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, went viral on #BookTok during the pandemic (despite being published in 2016), and readers eagerly waited to see protagonist Lily Bloom on the big screen.
It Ends With Us is a gut-wrenching story that follows Lily as she tackles the challenges of love, strength and abuse. Blake Lively signed on to play the protagonist, with Justin Baldoni taking the role of Ryle Kincaid, Lily’s husband. Stars of the film also include Jenny Slate as Allysa, Hasan Minhaj as Marshall and Brandon Sklenar as Atlas Corrigan

The cast and crew took to the streets of New Jersey to shoot It Ends With Us in 2023. Leaked photos from the set gave the anticipating audience glimpses into the wardrobe of Lily Bloom, many of whom called the outfits an ‘unexpected’ turn from the character’s eccentric style.
“I actually wore a lot of my own clothes and my husband’s clothes in It Ends With Us. I donated a lot of my own stuff to the movie whereas I maybe should have gone the other way and taken stuff from the movie (laughs),” Blake told Woman’s Day in 2024.
There’s been a wrath of drama surrounding the film adaption of It Ends With Us. It’s been hard to avoid the stories of accusations and lawsuits that have followed in the wake of the film’s premiere, predominately between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. But we’ll leave that story for another day. We just want to watch the film.
