Listening to the emotional, mellow tunes of indie duo Rhye, you could mistakenly think you were listening to the smooth vocals of British singer Sade. In fact, the sweet voice
that echoes through the band’s debut album comes from a man -– Canadian singer/producer Mike Milosh, who makes up one half of the mysterious twosome with Copenhagen producer Robert Hannibal. The tracks are haunting, understated and laden with saxophones and synth. Nothing here rocks the boat, but Woman makes great lazy Sunday listening.
