The former Shortland Street actor gave fans a glimpse at his new look by introducing his character on Twitter.
The Kiwi star has taken on the role of Archie Andrews in new TV pilot Riverdale, based on the famous American Archie comic books.
The young actor flashed a cheeky smile as he matched his new flame coloured hair, to his bow tie to reveal his red locks.
The pilot which is still in production also stars heartthrob Luke Perry, as Archie Andrews father.
