Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie has married her professional ice skater boyfriend, Sylvain Longchambon.
The 34-year-old star, who plays hairdresser Maria Connor on the soap, got engaged to Frenchman Sylvain in May 2015, before welcoming their first child together that September.
Samia and Sylvain met when they were partnered together for 2013’s Dancing on Ice, which was where Sylvain also met his previous girlfriend, actress Jennifer Metcalfe.
The couple wed in a manor house (formerly owned by Take That star Gary Barlow) in Cheshire, England.
Guests included Corrie co-stars Catherine Tyldesley, Shayne Ward and Antony Cotton, as well as other close friends and family.
Catherine took to Twitter to thank the couple for the day, writing: “The most gorgeous day for a beautiful couple!! Thankyou @realsamia and @slongchambon – an amazing love filled day. Congrats xxxx.”
