Actor Brian Austin Green has asked for spousal support and joint custody in his response to wife Megan Fox’s divorce filing, according to People.

Both Megan and Brian listed the official date of separation in the papers as June 15, and Megan cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split.

It’s been over a month since the news broke that the couple – who have been married for five years – were separating. The duo were together for 11 years, after meeting on the set of Megan’s television show Hope & Faith in 2004, and became engaged for the first time in 2006 before calling it off three years later.

The two eventually got engaged again in June 2010, before tying the knot 24 days later in Hawaii. Megan, 29, and Brian, 42, are parents to three-year-old Noah Shannon and 18-month-old Bodhi Ransom.

Brian is also father to 13-year-old son Kassius from his previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.
