After five years of marriage and almost 11 years together, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have reportedly separated.

The couple are rumoured to have been living apart for months, and haven’t made any public appearances together since December last year.

“Megan and Brian have decided to separate,” a source told People.

“They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they’ve decided it’s best to take some time apart.”

Megan and Brian have two sons together, two and a half year old Noah Shannon and 18 month old Bodhi Ransom. Brian also has a son named Kassius from his previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

The couple, who met on the set of Megan’s TV show Hope & Faith in 2004, have had a rocky relationship at times. They initially became engaged in 2006 before calling it off in 2009, and then Brian proposed again in June 2010. The two eventually tied the knot in Hawaii just 24 days after becoming engaged for the second time.

Megan’s film career is said to be one of the major factors behind the sudden split, with her reported ‘obsession’ over getting roles causing tension, according to Us Weekly.

In 2013, Megan told Marie Claire UK that she and her husband were “very, very different”.

“We are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don’t try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him,” she told the publication.
