In a post which has since been deleted, 212 rapper, Azealia Banks, wrote, “So I’ve just had a really major life event happen and I want to talk about it because this wouldn’t be an Azealia Banks page without loads of oversharing right?”
“Anywho, I’ve just had a miscarriage and am pretty taken aback by it all and really confused and in shock and guilty and a bit depressed and like a failure and very ashamed,” she continued.
Reaching out for advice, Azealia asked: “Has anyone else had this same experience who cares to share some words of wisdom or words of anything regarding this topic.”
“The self-loathing bit is a real struggle for me at the moment so share any words here, they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.”
The honest post was quickly greeted with words of encouragement from Azealia’s loyal fans with one writing, “Your [sic] not a failure! Its normal to feel these emotions after a traumatic event I felt the same after mine.”
Another penned, “Omg I hope you recover soon and get some rest and relaxation. Take time to process what just happened. Try not to stress it.”
Azealia’s heartbreaking news comes just months after she accused Aussie actor, Russell Crowe, 52, of assault.
After the alleged altercation at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Azealia took to social media to share her side of the story.
“To recap my night, I went to a [party] at Russell Crowes suite, at which he called me a n—-r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me,” the post, which has since been deleted read.
Azealia added, “Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time.”
Following their altercation on October 15, the LA County District Attorney’s office has rejected filing a battery charge against the Robbin Hood star due to ‘lack of sufficient evidence.’
