We simply can’t wait until Adele heads to New Zealand – especially given how entertaining she’s been over the ditch this week.
Not only did the mega star finally confirm she is in fact married to Simon Konecki, the father of her four-year-old son, but she’s also lamented the most annoying thing about summer – mozzies!
During her second sold-out show in Brisbane, Adele was surrounded by a swap of those pesky things, prompting her to run across the stage to escape them.
Story continues after the video…
“I’m sorry, I’m not Australian, I don’t like bugs!” she screamed before trying to escape.
“It was sucking my blood, it was sucking my blood!”
It seems Adele is something of a Dr Doolittle – during her first Queensland show, she was joined on stage by a beetle, a cricket and a cockroach.
“Oh my god, I’m not just saying it because of last time, there’s a beetle on my stage … just saw a cockroach. run for your life,” she joked.
“It’s a sanctuary up here, I’m loving it.”
Adele will be in New Zealand for three shows from March 23.
