If you were as captivated by the 2024 season of MAFS Australia as we were, you’ll likely be wondering there the stars are now.
Following our recent catch up with the season ‘villains’ Jack and Tori, now we’re catching up with the whereabouts of the Married At First Sight Australia cast.
The 2024 MAFS Australia couples now
Lucinda & Timothy
Former helicopter pilot Timothy Smith shocked fans by revealing he had actually served prison time for his involvement in a drug-smuggling ring. Sadly, he and Lucinda Light are no longer friends. Tim explained that “eight chances was enough” and that his bride was a “little different” to her on-screen persona. Lucinda responded, “There are no hard feelings my end and I still hold a lantern of hope for our friendship… It’s flabbergasting how happy I am despite being a single 44-year-old woman. It turns out life is calling me in other ways!” She’s written a book called Shine Your Light, performed live shows in the UK and revealed in a podcast that she now identifies as “queer”.
Sara & Tim
Tim Calwell and Sara Mesa recommitted at final vows but ended their tumultuous relationship a month later. In February, Tim found love with a Brazilian named Barbie and they dated until October. Sara also found a new partner but later ranted, “I was constantly manipulated, gaslit, lied to and cheated.” When followers suggested it was karma, Sara hit back, “Yes, I was an a***hole at times on the show, but I’m not a narcissist who would cheat on someone they truly love.”
Ridge & Jade
Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo said yes in their final vows, and the former Commonwealth Games weightlifter has now quit his job as a nurse to move to the Gold Coast to live with Jade and her daughter Victoria. In August, they announced their baby plans, but Jade wants to be officially engaged first. There’s no ring yet, but Ridge did commit with a tattoo of Jade’s name on his back – and he’s also launched a clothing brand.
Stephen & Michael
Stephen Stewart and Michael Felix’s time on the show was short-lived. In September, Stephen hard-launched his relationship with new partner Brett Quilter on Instagram. Meanwhile, US-born Michael celebrated 10 years living in Australia and is focusing on his fitness, encouraged by his co-star Cass, whom he recently travelled to Fiji with.
Jayden & Eden
Jayden and Eden confirmed their commitment in the final vows but split months later. Jayden shared, “Our relationship ended not long before the end of the experiment airing.” Eden later revealed he dumped her “out of the blue”. In July, Jayden became the WBC Muay Thai cruiserweight world champion. His brother Mitch has since hinted that Jayden’s about to be a dad.
Natalie & Collins
Natalie Parham and Collins Christian’s relationship ended a few days after the first commitment ceremony, with Nat sharing Collins wasn’t attracted to her because she wasn’t “Blake Lively enough for him”. She has since briefly dated a female friend, while Collins launched a short-lived merch line featuring his infamous line: “I just got married. What a day.”
Andrea & Richard
Richard Sauerman and Andrea Thompson didn’t make it to final vows after Andie struggled to get over comments Richie had made about their sex life. The groom has since found love with girlfriend Margie Hawker and reveals that the only MAFS cast member he trusts is villain Jack. Andie, meanwhile, has retained strong friendships with many of the cast, but she denies rumours of flirting with Timothy, insisting he’s like a brother to her.
Tristan & Cassandra
Tristan Black and Cassandra Allen left MAFS as friends rather than partners. Since the show, Tristan has DJed at gigs in Australia and Fiji, and landed a job in radio. Meanwhile, Cass’ Instagram feed is filled with her travels to Japan, Fiji and Hawai’i. She says, “If I could have another life, I would choose this one every time.”
Ben
Ellie’s tour-guide ex Ben Walters is now in a relationship with Aileen Mu, whom he was reportedly dating before he went on MAFS. Of the show, he says, “Never did like the dinner parties. Unless you’re abusing someone, you won’t make airtime.”
Lauren
Since the show, Lauren Dunn has returned to Perth and signed up with a talent agency. She shared that while she’s not ready for kids yet, she’s started the process of freezing her eggs. Post-MAFS, she’s also travelled to Dubai with fellow bride Sara, saying, “The best thing that came out of the show was an amazing friendship with Sara.”
Madeleine & Ash
After their relationship bombed, psychic and former Home And Away star Madeleine Maxwell skipped the reunion. “I did not feel in alignment
with the production.” Her groom Ash Galati has announced he’s looking for love “the old-fashioned way… on Tinder”!
