He’s set to star in the upcoming horror movie ‘Piranha 3D’, but actor Jerry o’Connell reckons his ‘Jerry oaguire’ co-star Tom Cruise is a much scarier prospect than the film’s flesh-eating fish.

Jerry famously poked fun at Tom and his controversial faith Scientology in an internet video – and he says he’s terrified of running into the superstar!

“I saw him from a distance once and got the hell out of there,” says Jerry, who insists the viral video was affectionate rather than offensive in intention.

Meanwhile, the actor – who has 19-month-old twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie, with wife Rebecca Romijn – has just completed his first year at law school.

Jerry says, “It was a lot of fun, although in my mock trial, my professor told me that I over-acted, so that was a little annoying. I’m sure she did it just to mess with me.”
