Naomi Campbell better look out! A warrant has been issued for her arrest after she failed to appear in court to face charges of attacking her personal assistant. A judge ordered the feisty supermodel to be taken into custody after she failed to appear in court last week. The judge warned that she “is absolutely obligated to appear at the next court date” or she will be arrested. Naomi’s lawyer blamed the paparazzi for her absence saying, “The press are all over this girl, there are over 100 cameramen outside this courthouse.” However, the judge wasn’t swayed, saying that they had “a right to be there.” The ex-assistant pressing the charges says her employment with Campbell left her with “severe injuries” and “severe mental distress”. She claims that while working for Naomi in 1998, the tempestuous model bashed her over the head with a phone, not once but twice, grabbed her neck and slammed her against a wall. Adding insult to injury, Naomi never bothered to pay the $2500 she was owed in wages. If found guilty, Naomi could face up to seven un-glamorous years in jail.
