Two men have been charged with plotting to extort more that US$1 million from Tom Cruise for stolen photos from Tom’s wedding to Katie Holmes last year. David Hans Schmidt and Marc Lewis Gittleman had compromising celebrity photos and videos from the Italian event, and approached Cruise’s representatives about six weeks ago with the demand for money.
