In a recent survey, Elite Singles polled Kiwis on their favourite romantic comedy movie.
And with dozens of Hollywood classics to choose from, which film was the one that ticked all the right boxes?
Somewhat surprisingly, London based Richard Curtis movie Love Actually is the film that captures most Kiwis hearts, with it coming out top.
This was closely followed by vintage classics Pretty Woman and When Harry Met Sally, whereas The Notebook was also well received.

As it turns out – New Zealanders really have a soft spot for bumbling Englishman Hugh Grant. The actor was also voted New Zealand’s favourite romantic movie hero, with Sandra Bullock being our favourite romantic heroine.
Richard Gere, Patrick Swayze, Ryan Gosling and Tom Hanks all made the top five romantic heroes, while Julia Roberts, Audrey Hepburn, Rachel McAdams and Meg Ryan were also popular heroines.
