We’ve been waiting since 2006 for the follow-up to Justin Timberlake’s Grammy-winning FutureSex/LoveSounds, and after several mediocre acting projects, JT is back doing what he does best on this groove heavy album. With tracks around seven minutes long, it’s a CD that rewards repeat listening.
R&B blends with 1950s lounge in Suit & Tie and Mirrors, while Let the Groove has a Latin inspiration. The 20/20 Experience is irresistibly funky – and with 10 tracks yet to be released in a second volume, there’s more goodness to come.
