Madonna has decided to ban shooting on her estate after Stella McCartney ordered her to stop. Her oadgesty and husband Guy Ritchie regularly hire out their English property, Ashcombe, to hunters for $30,000 a day, but stopped when family friend and animal rights campaigner Stella found out about the money making scheme. A source says, “Ashcombe has become a hunting factory and the Ritchies like playing rich landlords. Stella wasn’t pleased when she heard about them releasing pheasants and spoke to Madonna. She’s the reason Madonna is stopping shooting next year.” [20 December 2006]
