Double oscar-winner Robert de Niro says he doesn’t like the attention that comes with being a celebrity and has tried to avoid it where possible. “I’ve never been one of those actors who has touted myself as a fascinating human being,” says the 67-year-old ‘Little Fockers’ star. The well-known leading man, who started performing on screen in 1968, adds he chose to act, not to be an object of media scrutiny. “I had to decide early on whether I was to be an actor or a personality.” Robert adds that while he plays a grumpy grandfather in his next film, he is better-tempered when it comes to his own family. “I have a pretty good relationship with the in-laws, my son’s wife and her father,” he says.
