Singing sensation Ricky Martin has revealed he was overwhelmed by emotions after announcing to the world that he is gay. The ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’ crooner emailed the announcement to his website and immediately broke down. “I was in my studio alone for a minute. My assistant walked in and I just started crying like a little baby.” Ricky says he decided to tell the world about his sexuality because of his sons, two-year-old twins Valentino and Matteo who were born via a surrogate mother. “I guess the most important thing is my children,” he explains. “When I was holding them in my arms, I was like, ‘What, am I gonna teach them how to lie?’ I said, ‘okay, it’s time to tell the world.'”
