Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster has announced that she is ready to have another baby, preferably a daughter. The newlyweds already have son Alastair together. The 36-year-old model reveals, “We will be trying for another as soon as we can fit it in we are ready now! We’d both love one in another year. A little girl would be wonderful as it would be a little playmate for Alastair.” Penny also says that Rod loves her post-baby body. “Rod prefers my body since I gave birth. I’m more confident. Having had a baby, I feel more womanly. obviously I put weight on, but I honestly didn’t care.” [10 July 2007]
