Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan is set to be serenaded for life if she marries singer Michael Bolton. The pair, who recently got back together again after an initial romance 14 years ago, cuddled up for the cameras at a Golden Globes after-party. Confronting rumours of an engagement, Michael says, “Look, if I did not feel this is the story, I would not have invested so much time and energy in it. Nicollette and I are very serious about each other.” Michael, who bought up three daughters as a single father from a previous marriage, credits Nicolette with helping him recover from depression. He adds, “I am very committed. It is a very special time in my life. I have a good feeling about the future.” [19 January 2006]
