The celebrity chefs from My Kitchen Rules Australia will judge teams of New Zealand’s best home cooks as they go head-to-head for the top prize on the series.

The MKR 2016 ending wasn’t quite what it seemed

The chefs said they were excited about coming here, and getting a taste of New Zealand’s cuisine.

“I love New Zealand – there are so many beautiful places to visit, and so much local produce and flavours to cook with,” Pete said.

“I look forward to seeing what the Kiwis can cook up for Manu and me.”

Manu added he was really looking forward to the experience.

“I haven’t spent a lot of time in New Zealand personally, so it’ll be great to get around the country and meet some incredible people and try their food.”

My Kitchen Rules New Zealand will be produced by Seven Productions, the same company that produces the show in Australia. The series will go to air on the newly named TVNZ 2.
