Even if holiday overindulgence has steered you away from the kitchen, save room for this morsel of French comedy, Le Chef. This gorgeous film follows the unlikely pairing of a renowned chef, Alexandre Lagarde, and an experimental newbie, Jacky, as they try to save Alexandre’s restaurant from losing its three-star Michelin status. Though it doesn’t reinvent the souffle, Le Chef is deliciously light and fluffy but still has plenty of substance.
