‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Katherine Heigl says the cast of the hit series is moving forward after the controversy surrounding co-star Isaiah Washington. Isaiah made headlines after using an anti-gay slur towards co-star TR Knight and subsequently checked into rehab for treatment. Katherine claims the cast usually gets along well and that the set felt “like work as usual” now that Isaiah has returned. The actress, who has been a staunch supporter of her friend and cast mate TR, believes the appropriate measures were taken under the circumstances. She adds, “If it were ignored or just brushed under the rug, I would be angrier about it. But he’s trying very hard. We’re all trying very hard. I, obviously, have been very verbal about all of this, but there isn’t a lot going on right now. We’re all hopeful.” [12 February 2007]
