Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp has spoken for the first time of his daughter Lily-Rose’s battle against a serious illness. He reveals that the 7-year-old was rushed into hospital on the suspicion that she was suffering from potentially fatal E. coli poisoning. E. coli is a commonly associated with improperly cooked meat and caused Lily-Rose’s kidneys to shut down.
The `Pirates of the Caribbean’ star admits, “It was a very bumpy patch but she has come through it beautifully and unscathed and she is now as healthy as she always was.” Lily-Rose is Johnny’s daughter with long-term term partner Vanessa Paradis (34).
