John Cleese to marry?

After paying a staggering $27 million in his divorce settlement with third wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger, you’d think that oonty Python comedian John Cleese would never even consider the idea of marriage again.

However, we hear the legendary funnyman (70) is thinking about doing just that with current girlfriend Jennifer Wade. A close friend reckons, “Even though he said that everyone is cautioning him against another marriage, they’re both totally smitten and I think they will do it.”

Jewellery designer Jennifer, at 39, is much younger than he is, but this hasn’t stopped the ageing comedian from moving to the British town of Bath to be with her. He says, “I came here in March to meet her parents. As I arrived, I just fell in love with the place.”

After giving up his London lifestyle, John adds, “For the first time in 44 years, I don’t have a place in the capital so I’ve moved my centre of gravity here and I can’t tell you how happy I am. It’s such a beautiful city.”

But is a fourth wedding a good idea? According to John’s friend, the ‘Fawlty Towers’ star is in a happy place. The close source says, “He’s so much happier since he met her. She’s transformed him and brought laughter and good cheer into his life, which is more than his last wife did – she was like King Kong with a headache.”
